It has been several months since I returned to Aceh, but I still miss the city I visited, the city of Bagansiapiapi Riau, Indonesia. Where I get a lot of experience and knowledge in this city, although I only stayed for a few days only about 10 days.
Sudah berlalu beberapa bulan saya kembali ke Aceh, namun saya masih sangat merindukan kota yang saya kunjugi, yaitu kota Bagansiapiapi Kabupaten Riau, Indonesia. Di mana saya mendapatkan banyak pengalaman dan ilmu pada kota ini, walaupun saya hanya berada cuma beberapa hari saja yaitu sekitar 10 hari.
I see and feel the friendliness of the community there in welcoming the newcomers, but the thing that makes me more interesting with the city of Bagansiapiapi city is the beautiful panorama of nature.
Saya melihat dan merasakan begitu ramahnya masyarakat di sana dalam menyambut para pendatang, namun hal yang lebih membuat saya sangat menarik dengan kota Bagansiapiapi kota adalah panorama alamnya yang sangat indah.
I take many pictures of the beauty of the city of Bagansiapiapi, I capture many beautiful moments in this city, because the city of Bagansiapiapi also dubbed the city of Fish, many monuments of fish are built at the intersection in this city.
Saya banyak mengambil gambar keindahan dari kota Bagansiapiapi, saya banyak mengabadikan momen-momen indah pada kota ini, karena kota Bagansiapiapi juga dijuluki sebagai kota Ikan, banyak juga monument-monumen ikan yang di bangun pada persimpangan pada kota ini.
I miss the city so much, I miss the people, I am cooking the food, and I really miss the panorama of nature. I am very happy I can visit again this city. Hopefully my expectations are achieved.
Saya sangat merindukan kota ini, saya merindukan masyarakatnya, saya merindunkan masakan makanannya, dan saya juga sangat merindukan dengan panorama alamnya. Saya sangat berharab saya bisa mengunjungi lagi kota ini. Semoga saja harapan saya tercapai.

Nice, I know that feeling when you don't spend that much time at a place but you get to like it so much that you miss it when you leave. Which island is this on in Indonesia?
The town was originally populated mainly by Chinese immigrants who arrived at the end of 19th and the beginning of 20th century. Initially eighteen Chinese nationals sailed to Bagansiapiapi around 200 years ago and settled on the delta. All were from the family named . More followed, searching for a new life and seeking to avoid the economic hardships prevalent in Hokkien (China) at that time.
Every year, the Chinese community celebrates the anniversary of Bagansiapiapi, on the 16th day, of the 5th month of the Lunar year, believing that the initial immigrant group landed at Bagansiapiapi on that day.
