Reality Check # 18 || The thought that freedom is being allowed to do just anything freely is ENSLAVING!
If by freedom, we mean something we can use without any limits, some power to do what we want, then we will either go to prison or be six feet under the ground. Haha 😆 Why? We will be driving our car on the opposite lane. We sing while the rest is sleeping. We shoot our guns whenever we like it. Obviously freedom is not like that otherwise society will not exist. Even men in the jungle have limitations and they co-exist with common laws or ways of life.
In reality…
“Our freedom ends where our nose begins.”
What I am saying is that the reality shows that there is no absolute freedom. We are free only up to certain extent. Certain limitations will make us live properly and allow others to exercise their rights. Laws and other regulations ensure the limit of our freedom.
People are put in prison cells simply because they abused their freedom. They are behind bars so as to prevent them from harming the rights of other citizens. And even life behind bars certain limit.
Freedom is gained when we follow certain rules. Simple rules give us more freedom. True freedom leads to harmony not to chaos.
The reality is that True Freedom comes with Responsibility.
