EARTH & SPACE NEWS - Costa Rica Earthquake, Hail, Plasma Universe | Nov.9.2018
3:20 am I awoke to the earth booming and shaking! - A 5.3 magnitude quake struck at 10 km depth below Golfito, Puntarenas, Costa Rica. Luckily this was only of short duration and not too intense, I have not heard of any casualties. Because of coronal holes facing Earth right now and the magnetic connection to Earth from our Sun this creates, the earthquake risk will remain high globally for the next few days. Earth will experience minor geo-magnetic storms which could effect power and communications infrastructure. I find my ADSL internet connection is often worse during geo-magnetic storms - please comment below if you too are experiencing more internet outrages or very low speeds. Its a another beautiful day with 27 centigrade and 82% humidity. Waves are excellent at 4-6 foot with a light cross shore breeze. How are conditions in your part of the planet?
