What Is Your Name?
Names are given so as to be able to differentiate/identify a person or thing from the other. When people ask what is your name?, they are actually seeking to know your identity and who you are.
The names we bear or give ourselves go a long way to affect the way one thinks and what becomes of one's life. Parents give names to their children based on an experience or what they expect to become of their children.
Some sad experiences in life had made people accept or call themselves a negative name. Some others have changed their names because they feel that the name they bear does not speak well of their identity, so they choose a nice name to fit what they desire in life.
Parents who insult and call their children negative names are only killing the spirit of that child. Rather than call your child a fool, why not encourage that child that he or she can do better than a fool? Instead of calling that child an idiot or a good for nothing, tell the child that greatness lies in him or her. Stop killing your children by the negative names you call them when they do wrong things.
My friend, I am now asking you "What is your name?", have you given yourself the name tag of a failure based on the difficulties in your life? Life can be can be better again. Don't accept failure to be your name. You are not a failure.
What you call yourself is what becomes of your life. Stop calling yourself negative names even when things are going wrong. Be on the positive side and see the success in you. Call yourself by a positive name and work towards becoming that name.
