I don’t have to do it anymore - First chapter of our fall

Remember it! The day you say to yourself - I don’t have to do it anymore, is the day when you should curl up and prepare yourself for a painful hit, because - YOUR FALL IS COMING.

It’s going to be silent and unnoticed – the one that hurts the most!
But, let me try to explain to you how did I stumble upon this motivating conclusion. [Be sure that I found it motivating!]

Fasten your seatbelts – THE MIND JOURNEY BEGINS!

During recent discussion, friend of mine told me that the thing I said was so XXXXX-ly [read: one sign of Zodiac] of me…
I usually pay no attention to Zodiac signs and all of the generalizations regarding people “born under the same groups of stars”. But this time, those words stuck in my head and I started contemplating a bit more about that.

What if it’s true?! What if your Zodiac sign really claims our fate?!

So, I decided to base my following thought construction on the idea that Zodiac sign is something that defines who we are. If you read carefully until the end of this post, you will find my way to test this hypothesis, but for now, let’s consider it true. So…

LOCKED DOWN BY STARS AND PLANETS

If that is true, then ALL OUR ESSENCE – our character and fate, is already decided by the stars, planets, Saturn’s houses, Mars’s little cottage on a beach and other Venus real-estates. [Joking about it doesn’t exclude it from being true.] Apparently, there is this cosmic roof above our heads which secures our identity and makes sure that we stay who we are all the time.

Ok, we are who we are meant to be….. but WHAT NOW?

Well, I was wondering, if that’s true, could we anyhow take the wheel of our destiny? Can we break the cosmic ceiling and slip away from our virtues? :)

Let say that this beer mug, which, by the way, provides generous help in thinking this subject through, is by its characteristics the same as other mugs – solid, glass, relatively [but never enough] big and it is made for pouring the beer in it. How can it become more than what it’s been made to be?

Well… It could be ultimate travel reminder.

Or even the biggest cookie mold!

So the key is in - PURPOSE!

PURPOSE IS THE MAGIC THAT FALLS UPON OUR LIVES

Now it’s time for teleology. In the case of beer mug, when we change its purpose, it becomes more than just a glass for beer. It escapes its destiny!

Luckily for us, unlike the beer mug, we can choose and decide on our goals which consequently define our purpose. And nothing can stop us from choosing “THE IMPOSSIBLE”!

Also, let me give you a small hint - nothing can stop us from changing our goals from time to time. Shocking, right?!

Well, it’s the shock that starts things. Like defibrillator – shock that brings to life!

Never ever forget that you can do it! You’ll probably have to cry, sweat and suffer a lot, but you can do it! You can escape destiny and be what you want! Find your purpose! You get to choose it!

Because destiny is NOT your CHARACTER…

DESTINY IS YOUR JOURNEY!

GO FOR IT... whatever it is in front of you…however hard that may be…. sometimes you just need to close your eyes, clench your fists and go and go and go and go… and then go some more… AND GO…

That’s what journey is all about… That is what humans are… That is what our journey is! We shouldn’t forget it! We shouldn’t run away from it! And we mustn’t be afraid of it!

Each journey reshapes our character through new experiences. Don’t be afraid if it’s hard. Suffering is only a lesson and you need to LEARN YOUR LESSONS, NOT TO AVOID THEM!

You should, also, never forget who you were at the beginning of your journey, just to remind yourself of whom you were and how hard you tried to be the person you are at this point…

Because the moment you say to yourself I don’t have to do it anymore, will be the first chapter of your fall back in the small corner where “your groups of starts and planets” want to hold you in.

So, to all of you who believe that stars, planets and cosmos defines you – STOP BEING AFRAID! Go forward, or backward, or downward, or upward or wherever you want to go! Embrace yourself, embrace life and brake the cosmic rooftops! It is entirely up to you!

NEVER BACK DOWN and NEVER SAY - I don’t have to do it anymore!
