Is It Okay For A Girl To Let Her Feelings For A Guy Known To Him?
There's been mixed feelings about this question when asked. I've told any guy about how I feel before so I don't really know how that feels. To me I really don't see anything wrong with it, just that it depends more on the maturity of the guy. Its a normal thing for whites but for guys here in Africa most especially Nigeria, the reverse is the case. About a month ago, I overheard a guy telling his friends that he can never take any girl serious if she approaches him first bit his friend on the other hand said he will respect her more for the courage to come out plain with her feelings.
To me its all about the maturity of the guy for him to have a smooth relationship with the girl. The whites even go as far as proposing to their boyfriends first and it still seems like its the guy who proposed, they don't make a big fuss out of it and the people also watching from the background see it as a normal thing too.
Why most girls have refused to come out of their closet and be true with their feelings to a guy first is because she doesn't want a guy to disrespect her and mistreat her. She would rather crush on he guy from a distance than tell him how she truly feels towards him to avoid lines like "After all you approached me first", I never really loved you if not for your courage to let out your feelings towards me" and so on and so forth. It is very difficult for a black guy to avoid using this lines whenever they both get into a fight or an argument.
Well, maybe it is meant for only the whites, maybe this is a path blacks do not welcome or cannot assimilate or copy with the world throwing noses at them.
