#ULOG #35 Stern Wheeler SS Sicamous. The Canadian Pacific on the BEACH SHORE Penticton.

in #life6 years ago (edited)

While enjoying our Penticton Lake Shore walk along the Okanagan Park we decided to walk through this Famous SS Sicamous Park/Museum and Heritage Site.

We did not enter the Canadian Pacific SS Sicamous since there was a wedding taking place right now but below I will share the Admission prices.

This Sicamous launched in 1914 and run for 22 years as an important link for the transportation of the Okanagan. It is a large fice decked sternwheeler which was commissioned by the Canadian Pacific Railway.

The SS Sicamous was a steam-driven sternwheeler which today it remains the largest steam-powered sternwheeler in Canada.

This is the CN Boat which is also part of this historic heritage.

Here we have another Naramata boat which you cannot enter.

Some more information about the Rock Ovens which were built on the famous KVR Trail, which we didn't have a chance to find it yet. I didn't have the chance to take a picture of it, but hopefully you can see in on the video.

I am a great supporter of @familyprotection who is working very hard to help the families stay together and this project is the most amazing project that I would suggest for everyone on this steemit community to check it out and support it and by doing it we are helping people in need who are trying to keep their kids safe from being taken away (kidnapped) by the Social Services. Here is the link Click here

I am also a part of one of the most amazing projects here on steemit and that is #gratefulvibes project where you can also join @gratefulvibes discord chat group, where we support the newcomers and just have an amazing time. So please come and join us Click here

Looking awesome!

Really great pics. Pacific is awesome place.

Is the wedding fee different from the admission fee posted above?

I have been aboard a ship before. I have been in rowboats and ferries but not ships. Canadian Pacific is huge. It would be interesting to see the interiors of those ships but too bad you can't go in :)

I believe the wedding fees are different.

I have never been on ships either and from the website, the pictures look really nice from the inside.
I really wanted to see it from the inside, maybe if I have some more time I will get a chance.

I bet it looks great if they use it for wedding. I hope you get the chance to visit again.

without a doubt that this was a beautiful walk dear friend @joalvarez the images so show it, congratulations for the beautiful catches
I wish you a great day

Thank you @jlufer for these kinds words and also wish you a wonderful day.

Thank you so much. Going to places like these are only in my dreams but I can now see different places via steemit. The only ships I've been on were my Dad's in the US Navy a Destroyer and an aircraft carrier. Not so glamorous, hehe
