I was trying to upload a video on Dtube all day long, but for some reason couldn't do it, so here are just some pictures of our visit with our beach friends.

While spending our day in our beach property, we finally got to see our dear friends which are our beach neighbors which we met in 2010.
We have been back in El Salvador for 6 months now, but we never got to get together with this lovely family until now.
We have not seen them for 4 years, since we were back in Canada, but we kept some contact and last few times we went to our beach, they were not here until now, since they don't live on the beach, just have a beach home where they visit almost every weekend and holidays.

We were very excited to see them, since this family is always so welcoming and inviting and just love life and enjoy life even though they are always so busy doing business everywhere.
They have no fear and are very outgoing and always love to keep on learning and experiencing things.

Daniel who is a teacher in Naizalco, his wife who is also a teacher and their 18 year old daughter. This family has helped us a lot since we have learned a lot from them especially when we first moved to El Salvador in 2010 and we didn't know how the system here works, the culture etc. so they were just so awesome and still are very dear friends of our, plus they will make you pee your pants, since they are so funny.

We were expecting to hear what else is new in their lives, since like I said they are into everything, all kinds of business since they are very social people who love to try new things and are very well off.

What we have heard and seen from them was very, very disappointing and very sad, which we were not expecting at all.

Daniel, who is only 50 years old, is losing his sight. He can only see 10%, which is really only shades.
I believe it is from diabetes, at least that is what the doctors say. It all started a year ago and it is just getting worse and worse.

Daniel can't drive, can't work anymore, can't walk very much unless he has someone directing the way, he has to rely on his daughter who is going to school etc. and his wife, who is also very sick from diabetes and all kinds of problems.
The daughter is the parent right now, since she is non stop taking care of her parents and trying to finish her school.

The whole family who has always loved and enjoyed their life to the foolest, now is facing the worst time of their lives and it really breaks our hearts to see this since like I said, I have not met people full of life and loving and enjoying nature like this family, and now, Daniel is not able to enjoy this gorgeous nature and be active and enjoy his life to the fullest.

He is dealing with this the best way he can, but you can see a bit of frustration which is totally understandable and normal the only thing is that it is very hard on his daughter and wife.

He had one more chance and hope, and that is going to Cuba to get another surgery. My prayers are with Daniel and his family.

Sorry for the shaky video. I will get better. I promise. I know I keep on saying that, but I don't really feel comfortable videotaping around people, since I feel like I make them feel uncomfortable.

Wish you all a wonderful, safe, happy, healthy weekend.

Love @joalvarez

I am a great supporter of @familyprotection who is working very hard to help the families stay together and this project is the most amazing project that I would suggest for everyone on this steemit community to check it out and support it and by doing it we are helping people in need who are trying to keep their kids safe from being taken away (kidnapped) by the Social Services. I am also a part of one of the most amazing projects here on steemit and that is @gratefulvibes project where you can also join @gratefulvibes Discord chat group, where we support the newcomers and just have an amazing time.
