Self-sufficient living off the land as the way to go

I had the good opportunity to visit a respected doctor in the area and see how they were striving to live simply in nature to facilitate good health. I was able to see some of the gardens and especially new housing being built. The climate is very mild here at 34 degrees south so buildings can be erected quite simply without concern for anything more than coldish winter nights. Of course it's not half as cold as the snowy regions up north.

Here you can see some of the recent construction happening of wooden cottages in this nature reserve area. I spent time here for a few days and got to see the beauty and simplicity of construction or self-empowerment. There is a lot of space in South Africa and the temperate climate makes it an undiscovered treasure on the world map. Of course there is a lot of land in Russia too but there it is much colder. South Africa is very temperate, situated in the Goldilocks zone where the weather is not too hot and not too cold, but just right, all year through. It is a rare feature on the world map. I have traveled to tropical areas in the East and can tell the difference.

In these areas like the south Cape coast of Africa it is possible to build a house fairly simply and keep it eco-friendly and ideally self-sufficient, with off the grid solar panels and rain tanks. Water can be a bit scarce here some seasons and the only people who survive are the ones who install huge collection and storage facilities. Then your'e sorted.

These photos were to record a little of the building process to have as a memory for future projects where we can facilitate further healthy community living. Or at least quality private sovereign survival and thriving in the rare treasured place still present on the planet. If you are able to settle in a healthy place situated outside of big cities and in nature somewhere, then you are making a wise move. It is a healthy alternative.
