Sad times are coming. Lillith the Rat is poorly.
We have another poorly furbaby Lillith the Rat. We have had her for nearly 2 years, they don't live that long but that doesn't stop the pain when we lose them.
We bought 2 rats Lillith & Amara. I don't know what it is with Albino Rats i find they age a lot quicker than other Rats. Amara is the same age and still eating, drinking and running around the cage like she always has whilst poor little Lillith looks like she has had a stroke as her head now lies to one side and her fur is thinning out.
We think Lilith is coming to the end as all she does is sleep, she isnt eating as much, her hair is shedding and her head is now tilted on one side. So all we can do is give her loads of love, we sit and nurse her making her comfortable and letting her know we are there.
We know its coming and there's not a thing we can do about it. Breaks my heart.

So sorry to hear of her bad health even though you know there limited life span it doesnt ease the sadness that come when one loses a pet

Sometimes you have to make a stand, they are such fun to care for but so sad when they have to move on
Its very sad and they leave a massive hole :(
That they truly do we lost of cat last year and we still miss her so much and I swear sometimes I feel she is still here
I know that feeling. I lost my best friend Sheara German Shepherd 10 years ago, still miss him every day, i used to feel him around the house, not so much now though :(

It heartbreaking but we keep doing it, its because we love them so much :)
Such cute little doobers. Always SO sad to lose a dear friend, disguised as a pet. My heart goes out to you, in your hard times. I had a mouse named Milbert, who lived about two years, and it was sad to lose him as well. I suppose remembering the fun times are most important. Even the little furry mice and rats really get into our hearts.
They do and they leave there mark. We love having them but then heart breaking when we lose them. 2 years is no time bless them
