WE HAVE HAD A BUSY SUNDAY, VETS, DOGS, SICK AND GHOSTS, WHAT MORE COULD ANYONE ASK FOR?

in #life5 years ago (edited)

Its Sunday and i am up at 10am this is way to early for me. It had to be done to get Luna's microchip sorted. We bought her last May from a breeder who had named her Java. We wanted her registered to us in case she ran away, Thankfully we got is sorted.

On our way to the vets Luna was sick, I had packed a bag with kitchen towel, disinfectant wipes and dog wipes. Luckily it was just a little bit that was easy to clean up. Unfortunately our little pup was sick on the way home too, 3 minutes from home, this time it was a lot more. She really doesn't like travelling in the car. Our other pup Mika is exactly the same, she is always sick when travelling in the car even short distances.

We had to go to the vets that had registered her with the breeder. We arrived at the vets where they scanned her chip, they searched their files to find she hadn't been registered or should say registered properly, she wasn't registered with any name. There had been a mix up.

We got it sorted, Luna has been named and registered now just waiting for the email to say the registration has gone through. We want to train Luna to play off the lead and to come back when her name is called, if she runs away and someone finds her its us who get the phone call whereas before she would have gone back to the vets but would have had no owners.

This was our little on in the car on the way back, her nose was warm and she wasn't feeling well. I had her cuddled on my lap with her head resting on my shoulder hoping me holding her close she would be comforted.

We are now home, the car has been cleaned, Luna has been cleaned, she is feeling better curled up sound asleep on my daughters knee.

We are settling down with a beef stew watching Ghost Adventures, A little bit of Zak Bagans chasing ghosts is the perfect end to a busy day before i jump onto Bingo around 7ish to hopefully win a jackpot. Everything Crossed.

Thank you @son-of-satire

As an experiment, sit in the back seat, wind the window down enough for her to get her nose out, get comfy, then start the car.
All my dogs likes their noses out a window, or on the back of the truck. And were never sick.

We have tried with both dogs there still sick or it comes out the other end... prefer the sick LOL
