Taiwan Is One of the Most Underrated Places in the World
Met these girls while visiting Hui-Yao Waterfall.
Taiwan is a tropical island that offers a lot of what many popular tourist attractions do such as mountains, green landscapes, beaches, swimming activities and waterfalls!
As I continue to get adjusted to living in Taipei, Taiwan, I am still finding time to travel outside of the urban city to search for nature. Taiwan has plenty of that. One thing I have fallen in love with doing here is finding waterfalls to swim around. My friend Nick has been living in Taiwan for over 5 years and knows where a lot of these places are. We rented a motorbike and traveled to a waterfall named Hui-Yao.
The water was nice and cool. The water was also deep enough to be able to jump into!
These waterfalls were well worth the 1+ hour drive on a motorbike. Actually, we planned to go on a Saturday but it started raining hard! We decided it would be safer to head back to Taipei and delayed our plans for the next day.
This is another waterfall that was a short river-trek away. What's cool about this one is that it has a rope that you can swing off of. The waterfall was much smaller than the first one, but it was still really fun swinging on a rope and landing in the water below.
There were some people BBQing nearby and they were super cool and friendly. Taiwanese people are generally very friendly and welcoming.
Can't wait to keep on traveling around this beautiful island. I'll definitely keep sharing my experiences in Taiwan on the #NewSteem blockchain!

Really cool! We hung out with some exchange students from Taiwan in college they were really cool! My wife and I are still in contact with one. Maybe we will visit one day!
