Today is finally Thursday. It's Friday, isn't it? I didn't think we would make it here, but sure enough. HERE WE ARE! We survived the week. Did you make it? Was this week off for you too? Let me explain,
I've been thinking it's Thursday since Tuesday night. Then BOOM Friday arrived.
You see I love my new job. It is going great. I asked everyone about plans for the weekend. I ask friends to hang out. Most of the girls didn't think much of it. The guys, however, all thought it was either too early or crazy to be thinking about Saturday. Especially, when Thursday hasn't even arrived. I think that's fair. Despite my inability to keep track of the days of the week. I've come to realize why that is. It has even inspired my post for the following week.
It shall be called the week of growth...
What you should expect next week. My attempt at describing a fight, a very dramatic story about scissors, and a massive list of musts. If you have been absent lately in discord like I have been, but randomly decided to chat in discord yesterday then you already got one of the stories. Also, I think we will end the week talking about pain. So much pain. I did not know the smallest digit could feel so much. Plus, a metal bar stabbed my left leg and every night its pulsing. Very odd, I could be dying a little quicker than normal because of this week.
We will laugh in order not to cry. That is the theme for this week. Brazil is out of the world cup. My leg and foot are thankfully still attached and there is some hair left on my head. In about thirty-one days we will be in Europe. It might kill me in the meantime, but I will live enough to go.

Some great news. Not sure if this counts as great news, but won 2 epics (steem monsters) yesterday and one of my posts got to 8 dollars (that rarely happens for me lol). So yay me lol

Um, I hope your leg is ok. Hopefully it wasn't rusty or a tetanus shot could be in your near future. And that hurts a lot.

The past week was fun because I took time off my part time work and went for Steem camp in Warri.
I came back Monday, reported to the office on Tuesday and I just wasn’t feeling it! Lol
Ate something and had sore throat that same Tuesday! That got me frustrated because I was so uncomfortable.
Recovery happened Wednesday/Thursday.
I am so ready for the weekend.

About the closest I could get to a funny injury at the moment is puppy cannonballing onto my head. She is now big enough to hop onto some of the furniture. The sofa--and me on top of it--are too tall for her. So she jumped into the recliner and from the recliner, jumped to the sofa. She landed ON my face, knocking my glasses off and hitting something into my chin and lip so hard that it hurt for a while.
But she's cute. She gets a free pass a bit yet.

ps--I never know what day it is either unless I'm paying attention to photo challenges and themes on Steem. And even then I usually have to look them up.
Glad to know I’m not the only one losing track of the days of the week. Be careful with that puppy. After a few jumps, the pup might actually nock you out
My husband moved the chair after to prevent future jumps. So tonight she cannonballed me again, but missed my face, luckily. Border collies are not easily discouraged from fun games.

I've been sweltering away here in the Pacific NW with no air conditioning in my new place...and lo and behold, I was blessed with an air conditioner this week.
It was like....poof -->problem solved.
I'm feeling like....I might actually make it through the summer without melting away. YESS!

PRAISE GOD FOR AC! Our's went down for a couple of hours and I thought for sure it was the end as I knew it. God is with me and this week we are going to thrive like wipgirl!
