But what about in reality. In the 21st century, science, armed with modern tools, has advanced far ahead in the knowledge of human.
From the school program we know that a person is made up of cells. One of the largest cells of our body is the egg or oocyte or ovum (see picture), to whom anyone name it, it will not affect the cell itself. The size is tenths of a millimeter (about 0.13mm), so it is possible to see it with an unaided eye (look at the ruler with millimeters and you can imagine the size). The smallest cell is the spermatozoon (see picture). Its size is an order of magnitude smaller, so it can be viewed in a microscope, but first you need to catch it. The remaining cells, in the main, are in the dimensional row between the ovum and the spermatozoon.
Every cell has a core. The nucleus contains 23 pairs of chromosomes. Each chromosome consists of two chromatids. Chromatid is a receptacle for packing one DNA (Deoxyribonucleic acid). Consequently, the chromosome consisting of two chromatids has two "sister" DNA. This is necessary so that when the nucleus of the cell is divided, each new nucleus gets the same set of chromosomes (half of each chromosome).
Cell - nucleus - 23 chromosomes (or during the life span of the cell 46 chromidite) - 2х23 = 46 DNA (DOUBLE NUMBER 23 UNIQUE DNA, IF YOU A GIRL, AND THE BOY IS ONE VARIOUS).
