How would your life be different if…You stopped allowing other people to dilute or poison your day with their words or opinions? Let today be the day…You stand strong in the truth of your beauty and journey through your day without attachment to the validation of others. -- Steve Maraboli, Life, the Truth, and Being Free

Quote of the day

Reflections on the quote of the day.

You're unique. You're beautiful. You're amazing and perfect. You're gorgeous and lovely. Do you know this about yourself or you're waiting for someone who will come tell you?

It soothing and lovely to hear these words from someone else, but it should be a validation of what you believe in about yourself already not seeking validations from others.

You need to be able to stand alone, believe in yourself. Let no one poison you with their negativity, disconnect yourself from negative energy and people. They're all around, waiting like a time bomb, ready to explode on you at any minute. Don't wait around, you cannot guarantee your reaction when they do.

Stop believing every word you hear, so because you're called a failure, you Quit?? You've only confirmed that opinion about you, you need to live freely of all negative opinions from others. Start believing in your potentials and deep feelings.

You're special and beautiful, if only you believe deep in your mind!

A short story!

Mr. J is a Boss, he leads a team in a multi-national organization. He's married with kids. He's a calm man while his wife is the opposite.

Today as he's about to step out, his wife blocked his path requesting for an outrageous amount of money from him before he could leave home. He tries to pet her, explaining the situation of things presently at work and how much she had requested and collected for the past one month.

She said a lot to him, she called him lazy, irresponsible, an idiot and abused him physically before he manoeuvre his way out of the house. He went to work angry and bitter.

At the office, he tries to settle down and cool off. He was interrupted by the secretary, who's trying to explain a situation on a project but he dismissed her.

Few hours later, a call came. It was the CEO requesting his presence, he went into the office and he was informed about the project. It has failed and he got sacked.

I love this quote and with this I'll say till next time.

Mrs, J is only going to be concerned about lack of income. Appears she is a material life type person. Her compassion for Mr. J. will be blinded and tainted as she will look first at how this event will impact her.

Mr. J. will be dealing with his own sense of failure and loss as well as justifying it to her. This will make it difficult for him to pull up his boit straps and move forward with confidence. Even when he knows he can do it. The negative influence dampens his pride and ambition.

Mrs. J is clearly concerned about herself, it's evident in the behavior as narrated.

Mr. J primarily needs to feel alive again, the negative energy surrounding him is high so he needs to cool off else he might just lose control of himself. That will be a tragedy.

Even when you understand and know how someone is going to react, it doesn't lessen the impact.

I expect Mr. J. deals with her slanted , negative reactions in many instances. Hopefully he has others surrounding him to help offset!

Yeah... In the end, his positivity is essential to the world. Any reaction he put out affects, many around him.
