I already wrote that my son went on excursion to the Tarkhany estate where the great poet Lermonov was born. Childhood and education Mikhail Lermontov was born on October 3 (15), 1814 into an officer’s family, brought up by his grandmother. Almost all his childhood Lermontov spent at her estate in Tarkhany.Now it is a very beautiful museum, where, on arrival of tourists, a ball is held at the manor, which fully corresponds to those times. It is a very beautiful and reverent sight
