Hmmm locked out of the house
Whelp that was unexpected.
So every week for the past 4 months my wife has been at home when I get back from work.
And all week we’ve been talking about having a picnic at the nearby park for Valentine’s Day. Naturally, on the way home I picked up some roses. After pulling up at the house I headed to the front door with the anticipation of being greeted by my lovely lady and giving her the surprise of a bunch of flowers.
But no. There’s no wife at home. And I have no house keys on me.
So then my phone rings. She’s been spending some time with her mother in the city and is still waiting for a tram home.
I suppose I’ll just entertain myself at the local pub for a little while then.... happy Valentine’s Day me!

Too late. She found me with beer at hand at the pub. Directly after I got molested by a man eating pizza with his mouth open.

Sometimes a detour ends up leading to something good. What beer was it? I know a good amount about beer.
It was an IPA from a new brewery in South Australia called The Smiling Samoyed. Quite a good brew actually. :)

I see, I haven't been to Australia, so I doubt I would have tasted that beer. I've had a few good IPAs I find some of them to be too bitter, but that DogFish 90 minute or even DogFish 120 minute IPA on tap was pretty great. Also, I remember liking the Heady Topper IPA.
IPA’s can be amazing. Especially the ones brewers with a good citrusy hops. I’ve become a big convert to IPAs in recent months.
