In government we trust...

If you are pro-humanity and pro-freedom then, by default, you must also be anti-government. Hundreds of millions of human lives have been extinguished in the name of government, just in the last century alone.

It doesn't matter which 'leader' you vote for. Jeremy Corbyn isn't coming to save the day, sorry to shatter your illusions. The Andromedans aren't coming to swoop down in their spaceships to save humanity from itself, anytime soon.

Flick through any history book and you will see the many different flavours of authoritarianism that have been tried, and failed, throughout the ages. Communism, socialism, fascism, monarchy, democracy; they all result in abject human misery, poverty, war, and genocide. Some to more or lesser degrees.

Government, by all metrics, is a colossal failure. Yet people continue to insist that we need at least some form of government to ensure law and order, to preserve human dignity.

No.

What humans beings need now, more than ever, is to develop the maturity to embrace self-governance and to abide by the simple and eternal wisdom of The Golden Rule. That is the only way out of this mess. To take personal responsibility for our actions and to NOT treat others the way we wouldn't want to be treated. That is the master key that unlocks all the doors.

I can assure you, continuing to place your trust in government, rather than yourself, is a recipe for destruction. The history books do not lie.
