Excavating for cement patio...
Previous owners of our home had a couple “weed gardens” inside the fenced in pool area. Didn’t seem like the best spot for bugs, flowers, weeds, grass, and other stuff that would annoy someone trying to enjoy a pool on a hot summer day. So we are filling it in with cement.
This section had had to be mostly hand dug due to the PVC pipe for the pool.
Should look really nice and match the rest of the cement when done...other than looking much newer.
One more project, in the works. Starting to get hard to juggle and keep track of it all...
There is nothing like pouring some concrete to finish off a yard. All gardens turn into weed gardens I suppose but a nice smooth finished surface to put some furniture/planters on will be awesome.
My thoughts exactly. Cement is expensive but this will pay for itself over the years in the form of me not having to get out there and maintain 2 weed gardens.
