A Bit of Sustenance for Santa

I mentioned yesterday that the kiddo refused to sit on Santa's lap at the mall or the community hall. He could be scared of Santa or just does not want a face to face encounter.

Nevertheless, he does not mind following tradition of leaving a little plateful of snack for Santa when he comes delivering presents late at night on Christmas Eve. He agrees that Santa must be absolutely ravenous going to so many houses and carrying so many big presents. Furthermore, he would be safely tucked up and asleep in bed by the time Santa arrives. There is no fear of a meeting.

The daddy would later enjoy the cookie, muffin and milk set aside for Santa and when the kiddo comes downstairs in the morning, the plate is empty except for a bit of crumb left behind intentionally.

The kiddo has never asked about the present that Santa left for him.
