Bus Layover

We were taking a little trip to Sapporo in a coach bus. After a couple of hours, the bus driver stopped at an isolated roadside general store to give us a chance to stretch our legs and to answer the call of nature.

The store has so much fresh produce, food and souvenirs on display. I wasted no time and managed to purchase a lovely musical toy train and a 'talking' cash register as souvenir gifts for the kiddo.

There were some gachapon or capsule toy vending machines. The kiddo was quite taken by the egg shaped capsules containing little toys that I also got for him.

Almost all of us enjoyed the juicy apples and ice cream. For the first time, I saw big tubs of horseradish in the fresh produce section. I have only ever seen prepared horseradish in a bottle.

Oh. Is a coach bus different from normal bus please?

Coach buses are usually bigger, much or even comfortable and plenty of storage for bags and luggages.
