Busy in the Garden

Nature is ever so alert when the seasons change. It seemed like only yesterday that we had to get the neighbourhood handyman to winterise the yard sprinklers.

Soon, we would have to turn on the sprinklers for the grass and plants. I rather like spending some time outdoors doing garden work. I am wary of using the electrical shears and lawn move and would usually crop the bushes and grass with a pair of old fashioned scissors.

It is slow going but a good form of exercise for me. Weeding is not too tedious as we have now added a layer of white little stones on the ground around the plants. It is so much easier to pull out the unwelcome weed.
