You may be totally rad, but we all have our own insecurities that keep us back.

All the pragmatic procrastinators, holler!

I'm just a guy lucky enough to have got onboard Steemit while it's still in beta. And so are you. But I don't treat this place like I do Facebook and Twitter. It's easy to feel alone and lost there, with people insta-faking their lives and you pretending to give a shit as you hide their posts.

I rarely bother to even take the time to leave a few sentences worth of comments on Facebook anymore because my time is valuable. Forgetting the financial benefits of Steemit for a moment, one thing I've noticed is that people on Steemit are far more engaging and have shown appreciation for the wide range of publications I've posted - everything from piss-take 'how-to's to legitimate recipes, travel blogs, reviews, comic commentary, the odd doodle and vegan rage fests.

It can be a struggle to write something new at times.

It's not always because I don't have ideas. It's because I'm lazy. I've just got to get my arse up from the couch, whether I'm tapping on a keyboard for a couple of hours when I'm writing something properly thought out, or just sitting on the toilet with my phone.

I know what you're thinking, but be careful! Best not to throw stones in glass houses.

While my day was busy yesterday having quite a pleasant time at the Nan Tien temple, I took a trip down to the origin of Spider-Gwen. In the Spidey-verse, Gwen Stacy's another spider person. I'm not even talking about Spider-Island, here.

Origin story? Nup.

The fact there is little origin to Gwen Stacy as a spider-person leaves an unpleasant taste in the mouth. I went back to Spider-Gwen #1, and it's actually the second time we see her web swinging talents. Her first appearance is in issue #2 of Edge of Spiderverse. As a frustrated musician. That issue felt a lot like reading Archie or Josie and the Pussycats.

If you're a regular reader of Spider-Gwen/ Spider Woman, I'd love your thoughts.

The artists I've seen on these books really weren't to my liking and it felt like they were just filling in time waiting for something bigger. I would just love to see these books drawn with greater detail to justify the ever-swelling price of admission. Is that too much to ask?
