A paradigm Shift- Worlds puzzle missing piece

On a subway train ride home, everyone was tired and probably hungry, some of the people on that train just need absolute tranquility till they get home and get a decent meal and sleep.

Mike was tired too after the close of a business day, he was sitting with his bag on his laps with an empty space beside him.

At the next station, a man with his kids came on board, occupying the empty space beside Mike and then the peace in the subway ride vanished. The kids were out of hands, shouting and screaming, they even snatched newspapers from people sitting who were already disgusted by the presence of the rowdy man and kids.

When it was out of hand, everyone onboard the train already showing signs of protest, then Mike who couldn't take it anymore like the rest of the people tapped the man, and said "Hey, don't you think your kids have had enough and you should control them?

The man who is now holding his head in his hands said;

" That's true, it's time I control them, i guess they are as lost as me and still figuring how to deal with the news as we just got out of the hospital where their mom was just pronounced dead!

With that shocking revelation and response which was silent but loud as every angry eyes now covered in books or newspapers, everybody now looking away in pity and shame.

Mike was shocked to have been the one to confront the grieving family, he was looking for words to say to cover up his selfish and somewhat cold attitude.

There was a paradigm shif immediately the other passengers knew why the kids were running amok, the first perception of a failed father and spoiled children faded away.

Most time we need another perspective to things we hear and stuffs happening around us, our perception about the real word has another dimension and until we all find away to "shift" our point of view, approaches to life and problems, then we as human being would stop having conflicts and be able to reason beyond the ordinary to proffer solutions.
