That Awkward Moment is back again in the midst of crypto-price plunge, but it is the time to read some life happenings right here on the Steem Blockchain like we have been doing for over forty-two (42) weeks ago. This is Episode forty-four (44), it is specially made for our dear ladies to let them know about politeness when turning down a guy who is asking them out on a date.
“ BE POLITE LADIES, WHEN TURNING DOWN A GUY”
A lady can’t say yes to every available guy that asks her out, that is where selectivity comes in. However, that can’t be said for all the girls roaming the street in the present world. As many guys that come their way, they answer yes to and these make them fall victim easily to many guys that want to prey on them. Also, there are as many good guys who have good intentions out there.
Gold diggers will value a guy before going out with him, this makes most guys/men go to extra miles to impress a girl, rent a friend car, get a loan from friends to take a lady out on a date and so on. In several of these instances, it ends up in a disaster.
To ladies who try to evaluate a man’s worth by his assets; clothing, shoes, watches, earrings etc., this is for you.
Jane is in her twenties, beautiful, elegant and smart. Her breath-taking features somewhat make her overly selective, she never dates anyone in her league or peer group, never have male friends at work or on her block. Most guys’ tries to avoid her irrespective of how charming she looks because they would end up getting embarrassed.
Dave is a guy in his early thirties, profoundly looking for love, a nice girl to settle down and marry. He doesn’t look wealthy or poor, modestly educated and no parents left alive. This had made his plans to relocate to another country much easier, a chance to start a new life.
He had met Jane at a store buying groceries sometimes in mid-summer, he had engaged her in a conversation, got her contact and been trying to take out on a date which never materialized.
An average lady wants to see a guy pose for a picture while driving, pose for pictures in clubs and in parties, it drives some girls crazy seeing a guy living the life even though it is not real. Whether the guy owns the car or stole it, they don’t care; it never matters to some of them.
Not every guy likes flaunting what they have, Dave owns a car but for a guy about to relocate to another country; he loves to keep everything low-key and not live a flamboyant life.
On several occasions, Jane is always rudely talking to Dave on calls and via chats, of course for a man has to play his cool in such situations, but in Dave’s case; the embarrassment kept coming none stop and she never went out on a date with him on several attempts.
Few months down the line, Dave stopped calling Jane, the chats too stopped. Out of pride, she never cared to call him or message him. Dave has been doing all the one-way communications all those while so it meant nothing to her. After some weeks, Jane noticed Dave’s status and display pictures and she knew he had traveled to another country from instinct. She swallowed her pride one evening and called Dave’s mobile number, the call was redirected to another line and a lady picked up the phone.
“This is Dave’s girlfriend, who am I speaking with?” in a soft subtle accent. Jane dropped the call instantly, feeling numb and petrified, the poor Dave like she thought had gotten a new girl and soon to get married to a young Neurosurgeon he met the second night of his relocating trip to a strange new land!
