We Rise By Lifting Others
Nigerians will relate more as a popular Nigerian musician made this statement in the just concluded Headies award night. But this was formerly said by Winston Churchill
“We make a living by what we get. But we make a life by what we give.”
But am not going to sound like him.
Let's consider these examples...
- A river that doesn't flow into another river, will be still, dirty and finally get dry.
We rise by lifting others. Our soul’s grow, and find happiness, when we give to others. In fact, we are wired to be compassionate and kind. It is a genetic necessity for human survival. The trust, connection and cooperation engendered through giving, creates community, restores the lonely hearts and brings joy
So let's take a look at a few ways that one might help lift someone else up:
- Be encouraging.
- Be understanding.
- Learn to Share knowledge and Wealth.
- Stay humble.
- Be positive
- Love and Respect Others

We have never heard that a person has become successful alone. The laws of the universe don't act that way. And that's why those people are called philanthropists today.
Everything that we involve people and it's the need of human to evolve constantly which can't happen on itself. Evolution needs more knowledge, more interaction, more help, more action, more serving the people.

It's sad that the world has become so self-centred. But it has its own reasons. Because of few bad experiences, people tend to become so selfish that they start neglecting the genuine needs of others who actually need it as well.
I think that it's all about money. Spiritual values disappeared, only material remained...

I don't deny the fact that money controls life and behaviour but one needs to understand that the root here is relationships and how much we care for others. Winning relations can win anything in this world and this is what people need to give a thought to. Spiritual aspects are indeed required in one's learning.
I'll relate this post with something I said in church last week. The reason God blesses you is so we can in turn be a blessing to others. True influence and success In life is not how much you have buta how much you've influenced others with what you have. Thanks for this inspirational post. Nd the headies was a bomb too lol

Giving it out to others doesn't require a million dollars in the account. A genuine help or upliftment of others can be done by other thousand ways as well. It's just a matter of choice. Most of us choose to ignore.
Ignorance and selfishness are interrelated when it comes to this.
