MORE WORK, AND MORE PROGRESS!

More heavy equipment and more work!

Back at it once again. Hard work every day, six days a week. While it takes a lot of effort, it's also a huge blessing!

BACK IN THE TRENCHES

Getting our mobile home up and running is going to take a bit. Along with other things, I've got a lot of trenching to do. The trenches will be used to run power, water, and the septic line for our mobile home. After this job is done, along with a few other things, we should be moving in!

The goal is to get some of these trenches about two feet below the surface. Since water lines will be ran through some of them, and since it can freeze to about a foot and a half deep here, that'll prevent frozen lines in the future. It'll certainly be a little bit before we did our own well, but I want to get things ready to be up and running.

Once again I'm blessed by my neighbors. This bobcat belongs to the same neighbor that allows me to use his front-end loader with the backhoe attachment, and the trencher belongs to @bluerthangreen. It is such a blessing to not only begin to learn all of these new skills, but to also avoid the financial burden that would go along with renting all of this equipment, or paying someone else to do it for me. Step by step, we are making progress!

As always, I'm @papa-pepper and here's the proof:

Until next time…

no stones ^^

Look at all those roots.

My ground don't look nuffin' like that.
Imagine all those roots being rocks instead.
And no moist loam.

And that trenching attachment doesn't work.
That is what my soil looks like.

#totallyenvious

I've dug a lot of trench. Never had luck with trenchers. They work great for some folks, though.

Its all about the type of soil.

good to see you are "Working Smarter, Not Harder"

I see no houses around. What's the implication?

thats its not an urban area ?

Okay. Thanks

Lots of work ahead still, but your getting there. What I like most is your attitude! Positive attitude makes the work easier( acknowledging it's still challenging).

More work equals more progresss indeed! I couldn't agree more :)
