Today we need each other, regardless of race, color or sex, we live in an empty and cold world, where we can not see the need of others, I go beyond giving a bread to a helpless being, I mean grandparents. They are people who gave everything they could to meet the needs of their children, family, finally gave everything for the country and today, when they need the hand of their families, are left to their own devices.

It is very unpleasant to hear phrases like "that old man if he bothers", "because that old man does not die", "that old man so ridiculous", first we have to think in the cold if we will have the luck to reach that golden age, where patience, work , the experience, paints our hair gray, and furrows our faces with wrinkles. Many of us do not have the consolation of enjoying those stories told by our grandparents, sometimes stories invented only with the intention of making us laugh.

I had the blessing of enjoying my maternal grandfather, I loved him with madness, because for him his grandchildren were the most beautiful and calm children there was, every time we did a prank, grandfather managed to make us innocent, and sometimes papa or mom were scolded , because he said "they do not understand the children" if they hit them they will traumatize them, and then they do not complain that the children are withdrawn and when they reach a level of adults they will resent you, leave them alone.

That is why I feel so much pain when I see so many grandparents, going through work, making huge queues to get their food, medicines and even to collect a pension of misery that is not enough to eat, they also have to endure hunger and heat, and they even sleep in cardboard so as not to lose their tail, I wonder, is this fair? They are also verbally mistreated by beings so unconscious and humiliated in their dignity. This is not fair friends.

There are other grandparents who were abandoned to their fate in an asylum, without the warmth of their family and are covered with the excuse that we can not take care of them at home because everyone works and studies and there is no one to take care of them. I always say those parents brought out all those children, and nowadays all those children can not attend to their parents. Let's see that we imprison them to their fate, the majority visit them during the first months, then the visits are scarce, until the moment arrives that they no longer visit them again.

Most of them are submerged in a depression that leads them to abandon themselves completely, they stop eating, they sleep, they do not bathe, they become taciturn and in most cases the sadness is so great that they abandon themselves to their fate, and ask die in peace. For that reason we must think very well before evicting our grandparents from the house since they become children again, they become dependent on the children, and only what they ask is to have attention.

The most important thing they want is to let them have contact with their beloved grandchildren, remember that we are children again and only children will offer them that human warmth and that love that only they know how to give. Most children want to be in the company of their grandparents. And it's amazing how well they get along, eat and play between stories and even fights, but they enjoy history told by their grandparents. Let's all make an effort and see how beautiful it is to have the whole family together. Let's enjoy our grandparents.
