Lazy Sundays are the best!
And what a nice day it has been so far! It was not the first Summer day here but the warmest so far for now. Great time to see if the AC was still working and Yaaaaaaaaaaay I was still able to turn my living room into a new freezer! Eat your heart out polar bears! ((Insert very evil laughter here))
The heat was on and so did the heat in the BBQ! MEAT time! The piggy in me had a blast and now I am feeling fat again! ((Rubs belly)) It was 29c and well, for the Netherlands thats high. Sometimes in Summer we go over 33, sometimes even 36 but not often and that makes me happy! I like Summer but the heat can become too much for me easily!
BUT, like always here in our little country of whatthefuckisthisweather today, after the SUN comes the rain and thunder!
I always love the scent after the first rain on a hot day. Not that the scent is super fresh in the city but the little green in the area does gets a free ticket into my nostrils. I also love to walk on the streets after the rain witg no shoes! I have no idea why though. It just feels good and makes me happy!
And just as fast as the dark clouds rolled in, they also are drifting away again! Just like life itself I guess. One moment you are stuffing your face with freshly grilled nom noms and the next you feel like a tied up Elephant who entered a BDSM room without knowing it!
thunder is sometimes very noisy
