Who is Swami Vivekanand?
Swami Vikekanand was the foremost disciple of Sri Ramakrishna and he is spokes person of Vedanta.Swami Vivekananda represented at the first World Parliament of Religions in Chicago in 1893 .Where he was an instant success. Subsequently he was invited to speak all over America and Europe. He was a man with a great spiritual presence and tremendous intellect.
Most of the Vedanta Societies which were founded in America and Europe up through the 1930s can trace their origins directly to Vivekananda or the people who heard him speak from 1893 through 1900.

You cannot believe in God until you believe in yourself.
Arise! Awake! and stop not until the goal is reached
Take up one idea. Make that one idea your life - think of it, dream of it, live on that idea.
The world is the great gymnasium where we come to make ourselves strong.
Where can we go to find God if we cannot see Him in our own hearts and in every living being
Truth can be stated in a thousand different ways, yet each one can be true.
