I want to share some fabulous positive news with you today. Most people are aware that reforestation on a massive scale is necessary to reverse many of the issues of climate change we are currently suffering.
To hear of projects of reforestation is the most beautiful music to my ears....... so check this out.
In Costa Rica the NOT FOR PROFIT organization
Is busy undertaking fantastic projects of reforestation in Costa Rica.

The organization founded 17 years ago by Jennifer Leigh Smith has so far planted just over half a million trees.
🌴 If you want to help planting trees you can donate through their website
or if you are just truly inspired by what you see happening here in Costa Rica ....
then think about planting some young trees in your area too. You can do so much to help our planet - EVERY SINGLE tree planted is a blessing to this planet and your soul!
I could write so much more to try and inspire you to plant a tree but I don’t want to overstretch your time or attention, we are all busy..... so it’s a short sweet message. Donate to people who are planting trees or go plant one or two yourself. The benefits of planting your own are EVEN MORE rewarding....... but that’s your choice. 😉

We are all differently capable, the important this is to do as much as we are able.
That’s great! More people are planting more trees! I am propagating almost ten lemon trees and two more mango trees at the moment!
And we have done twenty cuttings for more plants whose leaves are edible! These can be dipped into egg batter and deep fried! They are leaf tempura Thai style!

I'm not fond of government "solutions" like carbon taxes because I think that they ultimately cause more harm than good. However, I fully support private non-profit efforts like this. I think they have the potential to be so much more effective.
On average, one acre of new forest can sequester about 2.5 tons of carbon annually. Trees can also be an integral part of energy savings, reducing CO2 output. Plant more trees!
