Let your life count

Life is not a mathematical equation that you have to use a standardized and pre-defined formula to solve. If it is, then you can predict the outcome of life. And we should also realize the fact that no two situations are exactly the same. Because a method worked for your friend does not necessarily mean it would work in your hands; and that is why you have to chart the course of your own life yourself.

Everyday you live, you are presented with an empty tablet to chart your own course, and it is your absolute prerogative to figure out how you would want your life to sail. But first of all, this would definitely begin with the discovery of self. The knowledge of who you are is the starting point to living a life that truly counts.

How long do you hope to live by trial and error? Can I tell you this? Everything you need to chart the perfect course for your life is embedded right within you, but you would be required to in-depthly search within you, so as to give expression to your inner self.

Your life is not defined based on your situation, neither is your future reliant on your background, neither is your success dependent on chance, but on your ability to take up the required responsibility.

Just like no one can eat food on your behalf, it is no one's responsibility to fulfil your own destiny for you - they can only help you, but greater onus is laid on you to make your life count.

If your goal is to emerge from life as gold, then you must be ready to face the furnace. Whatever challenges that come your way, just look at them as they are the furnace that would purify you. And in the end, you will emerge in your "pure gold" state.
