Riding On The Wings Of Opposition

A story was told of a little boy that was led by his father to a particular tree where little children normally pluck mangoes from. The father asked him; "son, do you know why these kids are throwing stones at the tree?" The little boy shook his head, then the father continued "it is because the tree has fruits which are desired by the children.

This same scenario is applicable to our everday lives. When you see people putting up opposition or challenges against you, it only proves that there is something good they can see in your - so you do not have to feel bad.

As a matter of fact, the presence of opposition or challenges on your way signifies one thing - you are on the right track. If you stay too long without any opposition, then check it, you may have missed the right track.

As it were, the more your position is getting advanced, the bigger the opposition that you will be faced with and you will need to scale through these oppositions to gain access to your next position. For example, in school, no one crosses over from primary school to high school without passing certain exams. More so, these exams will become tougher when you advance from high school to college.

Refusing to pass through all these oppositions will deter you from advancing. In a football match for instance, the opposition in the mid-field is not as strong as the one around the goal post - this is because you are getting closer to hitting your mark. Whenever you are at the edge of hitting your mark, you should expect bigger opposition.

My advice here is; always look beyond the negative sides of every opposition and see them as tools for ascending new heights and they will, in deed, be a stepping stone to your next level.
