The Change You Seek

As long as you are alive; and everyday of your life; you should expect to be greeted with changes here and there - changes within your environment, changes in thought pattern, positive changes, challenges, etc, but it is your responses to these changes that would set you on the pathway to either success or failure.

Everything you see around you are "changes" that are resultant effects of people's actions and inactions. And as it were, if you refuse to initiate the actions you are required to bring about the change you desire, then you might only be at the mercies of someone else's change.

One thing is constantly dynamic; and that is change. When you are greeted with change which you do not like, do you just sit in limbo and expect the kind of change you need to come? Well, I might tell you this; things (which include changes) do not just happen, there are things you must do for them to happen.

For every prize you seek, there would always be some complementary prices to pay. If positive change is what you seek, then you should be willing to take the required responsibility.

And if you see negative change coming your way, then you need to confront it. Not until you have confronted that negative change, it could still stick around for a while.

But y'all should also understand the fact that initiating a change is not as easy as it sounds - there is bound to be opposition; but the presence of opposition is not an indication that you are facing a negative change. So you should also look beyond the opposition, and you would see the beauty of life.
