Travel back in time

Have a nice day! Today I decided to show the photos that I made at the exhibition dedicated to the life of the Kuban Cossacks.

Looking at the scenery is quite interesting, good forged chest, spinning wheel and other items of the time.

Dwellings in the Kuban were built mainly of clay, straw, reeds and brushwood, and in the foothills of wood and stone.

In the main room of the hut almost always hung icons that were in so-called red corner of the Shrine. It is often decorated with embroidered towel or flowers.

Hostesses in those days were actively engaged in needlework: embroidered, knitted, sewed, weaved, spun...

In the Kuban the upper room was the furnace. On it not only prepared, but often and slept. Nowadays, to see a real Russian stove is very rare, if only in such Souvenirs :-)

However, sometimes some exhibition build other sets like these.

Tableware is mainly dominated by clay: this is all kinds of pots, gecici, Cavani for cooking soup or cereal bowl (dizhy).

Anyone can now buy such mahadi (low jugs with a wide mouth), with handle, spout, and sometimes with a lid.

Cooked in such boilers. However, the food they cooked every day, and any holiday or celebration.
