In life, don't say harsh words to people, even though they're obviosly handicapped or of a lower status than yourself. There's tons of people who are dumb and would give anything just to say kind words.

Don't complain about the food given to you because of its taste. Of course, no one likes eating stuff of low quality, but there's a lot of people who have to go all day without feeding.

Don't bitch about the behaviour of your companion to other people outside. Nobody is prefect, and they aren't better either. Rather, your ifferences should be discussed to each other. But things would be a whole lot better if you don't complain at all. There's tons of people out there who are without companions. Work out your relationship than complain about it.

When you're lamenting over your children, and you're cursing and hitting and all, i hope you do remember that there are people out there who don't have kids at the moment.

When grumbling over the long distance you had to drive to get to work today, do have it in mind that someone probably had to walk an equivalent distance that day.

Don't condemn, judge, or point fingers at other people. Everyone has the right to free will, and must exercise it. You can only guide and try to correct and be as polite as possible.

Whenever you're depressed about the wrong things going on around you, you could rejoice and be grateful for the good going on around you too. You could draw strength from knowing that God's got you, and wouldn't let go.

And when people let you down, be strong, dear. For they're only people. I remember a story we were told while growing up a long time ago:

There was a girl who was blind from birth. Her blindness made her so bitter towards everyone and life in general. She hated her parents, and blamed them for making her that way. Everyone except her boyfriend who was always loving and supportive, and she promised if he could do anything to help her see for a minute, she would marry him.

To cut the story short, a few months later, she was called up for surgery, and she had a new pair of eyes donated to her. She could see clearly mow and she was happy.

Then came the boyfriend who had showed so much love to her in her dark times to ask for her hand in marriage. She turned around, expecting to see the image she had in her mind's eye all those years (Tall dark and handsome) only to find that he had no sight. She froze, and realized it was better said than done. She refused to marry him. Heartbroken, the man walked away, and wrote her a letter a couple of days later with the words:

“Just take care of my eyes dear.”

Soon, you might have to realize that hurt is part of living, and everyone gets a feel smehow anyways. Change is constant in human life, don't be surprised by anyone's attitude when they change, it was bound to happen sometime and just a few people would remain grateful and trustworthy. The best thing to do is to believe in yourself, to love yourself for whom you are today and always strive to be better than your present. But it does't stop at believing. Always dream big and work hard in achieving it as well.

Live, freely

This quote: "Always dream big and work hard in achieving it as well." along with the last two words of the article (Live, freely) are really important in life. More people should live by this.

It takes a different mindset than people are used to but once you live by it, it will get easier every single day.

Really enjoyed this piece. I believe it's very close to the topic of stoicism, which I believe is a great way of living your life.

Keep writing these type of posts! Really enjoying it!
