What is procrastination? It is the HABIT -- of putting till later what you should or can do now.

If you have two tasks before you, one small and easy the other large and hard, which would you handle first?

The smaller one.........

right?

Wrong🚫

If you must procrastinate-- procrastinate on the small things.

UNDERSTAND THIS: Procrastination is inevitable!

You will always procrastinate, you will always have a lot to do, you will always need to delegate and procrastinate on some things; the wise thing is to choose the right things to procrastinate on.

Procrastinating on the small things means procrastinating on things that have little effect on the days productivity, they are important, but can be done later.

If you have two tasks before you, start with the difficult and most important task first.

Start and then finish.

The ability to concentrate single mindedly on your most important task, to do it well and to finish it completely is key to becoming very successful.

The ability to procrastinate right is important.

A very good way to not procrastinate is to PLAN.

Brian Tracy said "Every minute spent in planning saves as many as 10 minute in execution."

Every plan requires a goal, an objective.

As yourself- What's the purpose to the tasks?

Be absolutely sure what you want, be absolutely clear about your goals and objectives.

What's that big project that you've been desiring to do, why have you been procrastinating on it?

Well it's time to take it on.

Here are the steps to follow!

1⃣ Decide exactly what you want from and for that project.

2⃣ Write it down. WRITE IT DOWN. HEY! WRITE IT DOWN

One of the worst use of time is to do something exceptionally well that wasn't relevant to the task at hand.

3⃣ Set a timeline

4⃣ Make a list of everything that you can think of that should be done to achieve that goal.

5⃣ Organise the list into a plan, categorising and grouping some them in a timeline.

6⃣ Take action! TAKE ACTION
Start on the task, and yes the biggest, it could be to make a call, to go online or to meet with a certain person.

7⃣ Don't stop taking action till the goal is achieved.

DON'T GIVE UP PERSEVERE

I read somewhere that "Goals are the fuel in the furnace of achievements."

Anytime you think of giving up look at the things you wrote down in NO 2. Remind yourself why you started and what you desire to accomplish.

Motivation requires motive.
Action requires purpose.

Accomplishing the hardest and most difficult tasks first is better than accomplishing the lowest and simplest tasks first.

Put the pressure on you to accomplish that goal don't procrastinate.
