In the life of the modern child there is almost no joy. Do not argue, I know. I compare with my childhood.

The modern child is very limited, that in their entertainment, in their movements.

Now I’m not talking about the rationality of a kind of restriction of freedom that adults have arranged for children. From a security point of view, it is, of course, reasonable, threats everywhere.

I mean that a little more than thirty years ago the first-grader could have driven through all of Moscow without his parents hysterical, demanding that the police begin the “Interception” plan.

Previously, the same first-grader, hitting his grandmother and grandfather in the village, felt almost like an adult. The guys there were knocked down in big noisy companies, went swimming without adult supervision, made wild forays for many kilometers, and also - could build the fence quite qualitatively if the grandfather asked, or even catch a cow (if the cow accidentally ran away from the grandmother). Well, or goat. It was more complicated with goats, goats ... They are generally goats.

And at home, in the city, the children quite successfully carried out household duties, and it was enough for their contemporary peers, complex: to vacuum, wash the dishes, sometimes even cook their own food. First-graders could scramble fried eggs - this is in the majority.

That is, in fact, the children of our generation were more ... older. This is on the one hand.

And on the other - we were more children.

I now recall how magically delicious the ice cream in the cafe seemed - ice cream, topped with syrup or sprinkled with grated chocolate. In a slightly more expensive version - decorated with whipped cream, poured with liquid chocolate gravy, with nuts or dried apricots.

Little children's joy. Only one stroke of the magic of childhood.

Modern children, who are more children than we were at this age, will not understand this joy.

Do not you think that by giving them almost everything and trying to protect them from everything, we also cut off their ability to enjoy simple things?
