Unraveling

Looking for the center
though none there can be
as tethering to what one knows
is to limit what one could-
in the middle of nowhere,
you stood.

Certainty of mind
yet none in life exists
as falling leaves of yesterday
carried away by the birds-
Make a nest up high,
useless words.

Born again clear
innocence of the child
with world of plenty before
taken from hand and mouth-
A rumbling stomach,
an empty house.

I know the way
they proclaim what is said
is to feed their false agenda
lining the deep deeper-
On horse they stand,
Freedom's keeper.

Angry and bitter
they spit out their poison
screaming into the void
wanting the attention-
Another clap and cheer,
Tagged mention.

Charity starts at home
but for those without door
to rely on others for a life
is to live contained-
Other's held property,
Disposable stain.

The road is made
designed narrow for one
to walk alone and make wider
so others may travel-
Faster and freer,
While I unravel.
