The piece is used as cover artwork for the social media outlets for the roadtrip. The creative process for the piece is below.
The Creative Process
Blank canvas with the dominant color/tone laid across the background
Quick sketch of the horizon/terrain
Refining the background imagery
Sketching in the van and the drivers/passengers (David, Jacob, and Tom from left to right)
Refining the sketch of the van/riders, adding in color
Adding final touches all around
