Often, you nurse dreams and aspirations, or you have tasks to perform but think there is still time to do it later, rather than now. You make yourself believe that you won't be at your best if you perform the task at that moment. Soon, the memory of that dream fades away, and the dream is lost, probably for you to see another person fulfilling it, or the time slated for your task lapses and you are ignorant of what to expect next. You had your chance, but you blew it!
It is said that Procrastination is the thief of time. Everyone enjoys pleasures in divers forms, and this could hinder the performance of some important duties, if not well managed. Success requires self-denial and persistence. Procrastination will only frustrate these so that you remain stagnant and unproductive.

It hinders progress
It leads the way to mediocrity or even makes an underdog.
It gives pleasure today and shame tomorrow.
What you have to do today, do not postpone till tomorrow, there are already many other tasks to be performed tomorrow.
Get up, shake off the cold, suspend the pleasure, and get to work! Success itself is pleasurable. Act now!
