We Are Home!

Hi Everyone,

We have been given a home pass to go home from the doctors and if the hospital doesn’t hear from us tonight/ tomorrow morning, they will discharge us and issue the paperwork. The decision was made this afternoon while I was napping at home getting ready what I thought would be another night at the hospital. The doctor can see baby M eating some solids and drinking his usual fluids so she was happy to let him go home and be in a comfortable area where he hopefully can get better sleep.

Even though we had our own room, we could still hear babies outside crying as they are also not happy or uncomfortable. Baby M hasn’t really been sleeping well and would startle and wake himself up very regularly. Since we came home this afternoon, he was able to nap without any startles but still refusing to play. He is in bed now so hopefully, he will be able to sleep through the night and run around like his usual self tomorrow.
