Always UNDER-PROMISE and OVER-DELIVER!

So many people fall victim to useless promising and bragging in life that the importance of under-promising cannot be stated enough.

When you play strategically dumb and humble in life, you keep the expectations others have from you very low and when you deliver anything slightly/moderately high, you are applauded greatly for it. In most cases, you just have to deliver simply and you will end up getting applauded. That's the beauty of under-promising.

But in case someone falls into the trap of over-promising and is arrogant and smug enough to do, people around him/her will start expecting the world from that person. And there's no way such people deliver in more than 90 percent of the cases and always end up under-delivering which is absolutely horrible and they deservedly get scorned for it.

So the trick in life is to always under-promise but over-deliver!
