There is nothing RANDOM in nature!

We humans, ever since the Industrial Age, have developed a habit of cutting things apart and judging them by their components than judging them as a whole. A big reason behind this is science. While science has certainly helped our species in ways that are simply too many and too great to mention here, it has also made us humans get addicted to the reductionist approach.

Thanks to science and the reductionist spirit it has inculcated in all of us, we have all forgotten something that ancestors always knew: that in nature the whole is always greater than the sum of its parts. We have simply stopped being humble when it comes to our relationship with nature (that represents the universe). We have become short-sighted and what we call randomness is a function of this short-sightedness of ours.

Randomness is never a feature of the world. It has never been so. Everything that has ever occurred or is going to occur is because of a universal plan. There is nothing random about things we see around us. When we think something is random it is usually because we are too short-sighted to realize and understand the whole and are instead focussing only on one component - a typical reductionist behaviour.

What seems random in the short term to us could very well be a piece of perfect order in the long term. And very often it is the case. Therefore who are we to judge the parts in isolation and how can we even do so without perceiving the whole? It is time we get rid of our reductionist approach towards nature. It is also time that we humans learnt to be more humble.
