'Old Newspapers'
I came by an exhibition of old newspaper. In the long forgotten times before the Internet, newspapers were the most used source of information for many. There was a lot of charm in picking up papers and having a coffee while reading them. A ritual still kept in some coffee shops but not at all a routine as it used to be. Let's take a peek in some of the most sensational front pages from say fifty-sixty years ago.
The race to the Moon, which apparently never happened. Americans made a show out of it and won by means of PR. :D It is hard to believe anyone has walked the Moon in the sixties and returned when the computing power of your smartphone beats everything they had back then in the entire world. The lunar module looks like a joke. The 'original footage' was 'lost at NASA'. What a weak excuse. Another thing is that nobody else did it since. Simply not enough logic to make it real.
The Soviets marching in Prague, occupying an independent country of Czechoslovakia and expanding their dominance in eastern Europe. Bad times for Czechs and Slovaks. Even though some of them told me that their socialism became weaker than before it happened. Funny how things work out. There is a Mazda ad not to be missed. :D
The racial unrests in the USA after the murder of Martin Luther King. Grave times for the land of free... Does it look any better now with Trump?
We were often reminded of the military power of the Yugoslav army. I wonder why... It was the fourth military force in Europe in those times. Then in the nineties, it attacked people of Croatia and Bosnia. It was defeated. It was more unlikely than winning the World Cup. However, miracles do happen.
Ah yes, the race to the Mars was announced shortly after "the Moon was conquered". But there is no political reason to film that show, right? :D

I still read and have subscribed to some newspapers still
yeah, you are right, The old time was great and newspapers are the source of great information, I know the trend has been changed but still, there are some people who like to read the newspaper and still, the newspaper is one of the best ways to know what is happening around us.
I know some people who wake up early in the morning and after facing their mouth, they go and sit in their lawn and there they have a cup of tea and read the newspaper. INteresting to know you will find the newspaper in every barber's shop. people come to barber's shop for cutting and they have to wait for their turn and in the meantime reading newspaper is one of the best way to pass the time. sadly I'm not very fond of reading newspaper, but I'm thinking to start it. Here is an example: In Russia, the World Cup is held. People show excellent services of the team. However, along with this, Russians are raising their retirement age and increasing their taxes. At that time, while everyone rejoices at the victory of the national team, people put cancer.I like the events that are described in the newspapers that you saw. The old times were surely great.
People used to sit together and helping each other out in every possible manner.
That was the time when people used to read newspaper to get knowledge of the World.
Reading newspaper while taking tea of coffee.
That time people can observe others just by looking at them becuase of their reading skills and judgment skills they developed just be reading papers.
and now in this age
People used to read stuff from mobiles and internet,if one posted something wrong and it published, they usually do nothing and accepts it.
Students keep failing in their exams becuase of this much attention and weak mind or will power of work.
I hope coming future will not be as bad as it is now this present time.
