Exciting times
As you perhaps know from my previous post we have our house on sale. Yesterday we had an open house so prospects could havea look inside to see if our house can be their new home :) the interest was overwhelming, there were a lot of people. Of course we weren't home, our estate agent guided the people trough our home.
When we talked to him afterwards he said that all people where enthousiastic about the house and the space within and that he had a good feeling of selling the property for a good price, so fingers crossed.
So how about our own hunting ?
The current market in Holland is tensed, there isn't much for sale these days and when it is, you have to act quickly or the prices are way to high for value... So we keep on looking every day for new houses , we have given multiple searches to multiple eastate agents, so we hope to get something that suits us in a short time. If not, we maybe have to rent for some time, but that is no problem.
The current house we live in we have bought as first owners. It's modern, not real characteristics. We have no decided to look for a older house, with a bigger living room and a bigger garden. In our current house we have loads of space in the house (5 bedrooms, a addic and a garage underneith the whole house, but the living room and garden are (comared to the rest) quite small. Now with our kids getting a bit older we value more space downstairs.

As you can see we are looking more to a countryside now, we have been looking a lot in the village "Vorden" , that is about 10 km from Zutphen were we live now. we keep on searching, I know eventually we will find the right house for us...

Not much better than a house in the country! The first house my wife and I lived in had .3 acres of land. The one we live in now only has .25 acres. The house is much nicer, but I still wish I had some more land. There is just something about owning a large span of green grass that makes things a little better! You at least need room for a couple of goals!
hahaha that was the first thing my sons said when we discussed about moving. "Do we get a soccer field dad? " hahaha but indeed we do look for some land around the property, from what I have seen on your previous posts you have a great house..
Yesterday my wife tagged me in a news item of a Dutch newssite. there was this disney house in Florida, if it was ok if we moved overthere hahaha... She is a big disney fan..

The prices was (for dutch understanding) very cheap for such a big of a property. Isn't it something for you? Then you have land enough :)
Yeah, I don't think so. :) Too far away from all of my friends and family!

WOW! All the houses seems so cool, but my favorite is the first, it seems so lovely with a very big garden ^^
it does, doesn't it. That is something we aim for, for sure. a bigger and comfy garden.
