Time

Tick tock tick tock.

Isn't it funny how the world views our resources. Food can be continually grown and consumed. Fuel sources are fought for by nations. War is waged over money that has no real value or backing.

The world has forever been at odds with each other yet no one ever fights for time. Time is the only resource that cannot be mined, bargained for or brought. Yet nobody holds it precious anymore. We are all here for a certain amount of time. No matter what we do that allocated time will be used up and its over.

We go to work and trade that time for the same virtual money with no backing. You spend time waiting for transport that you must pay for, that drives on roads that you also pay for. Its ironic really.

Time is our most precious resource. When someone takes the time to hear you vent your problems, they are giving you time they can never get back. And vice versa. When two people say "I do" they are pledging to spend their time with each other. That to me, goes far deeper than the traditional surface value of love and companionship.

Before you know it time has slipped through our fingers and its time to go. Dont look back on time wasted. Use it wisely.
