We are used to using time as an excuse

in #life5 years ago (edited)

The only fair resources we have in life may be only the time. Time is the same for everyone, each of us has 24 hours of time resources every day, but how to use time is a difficult problem for each of us.

Some people can do a lot of things in a period of time, but some people like to procrastinate, and finally no matter what happens, as long as they are not completed within the stipulated time, they are used to say: “I have been very busy recently, there is no time.”

In fact, it is not that we have no time, but we do not make good use of our time.

I used to think, if there are 24 hours a day, eight hours of sleep time a day, lunch break one hour, dinner one hour, one hour to deal with other trivia things every day, a total of 11 hours, not even half of the day. The remaining 13 hours are time for us to dominate and do useful things, but think about how many people can make the most of these 1 hour? I'm afraid I won't be able to make good use of it even for 10 hours.

Before submitting group assignment, the things that I heard the most was: “I have been really busy recently, there is no time to do this, we do our best to do it, submit whatever we can complete.”

The group members often say that they have no time. But are they really have no time?
I don't think so, but we're used to using time as an excuse as if it were an excuse that can be forgiven, but in reality, it should be the last excuse to come.

As a student, according to the above calculation method, we can have at least 10 hours a day to study.

If we spend an hour to read an article, we can read 10 articles a day. From the day when entered college until we graduated, we can read tens of thousands of articles, but almost no one can do this.

If we can write 500 words in an hour, we can write 5000 words a day, or if we can read 3000 words of contents every hour, we can read the 30000 words of books in a day, almost a few days we can finish reading a book.

According to this calculation method, there are many things we can accomplish every day, but this can only be the ideal state. From the day we entered college, there is very little time spent on study, and we accomplish less than 1/3 of the tasks.
It's not that we don't have a choice, it's just that we choose another way of life.

Everyone complaining they are busy in life, it seems that every day there are a lot of things filled in their lives. But is not that everything needs us to spend a lot of time to do, as long as we want to do, we still have the time to do other things, but we chose to ignore the time.

Every time during the deadline, we will feel that we are losing time, but when we have the time, we never cherish it and this is the most common attitude of each of us to time. No one will feel that they have more time, and even hope that there are 30 hours a day. Admittedly, it was a hope for us, even it gave us 30 hours a day, I think we're still in the same state as we are now.

A lot of times we say there's no time, but what we’re really saying is what did we do with our time, and we can't say it very well, so it's not really about not enough time, it's just that we're not making good use of it.

It is never too late to cherish our time, give yourself a little planning, don’t be a slave to time, so that time is no longer our poor excuse.
