CAVEAT EMPTOR.. This Property is NOT for Sale!!

To the City dwellers in Africa , the heading signage is a common sight, especially on grandiose buildings and landed properties in Prime locations of Lagos, Nairobi, Accra, Abuja etc!!

It announces a message, to wit:

The referred property is not available for purchase transactions whatsoever.

But Why??

While , the reasons might be many , most are indicative of the demise of the original Patriarchal owner such that the dependant siblings and or children could illegally dispose of the property without the consent and benefit of other beneficiaries!!

Why is this phenomenon so common in Africa ??

Have you seen any in your neighborhood??

What was the state of the property before and after the election of such signage??

Isn't this an indication of #NEGLIGENCE by the disceased who never penned a WILL document , even if the lived 100+years before their transition??

What is your advise to a wealthy friend about this phenomenon??
