Principle 3. Abundance Consciousness is Aligned with Health & Fitness

Health and fitness are in the same stream of energy and vibration as abundance consciousness. Therefore, working at improving your fitness and working on personal development, knowledge building and skill development will help you move more readily, easily and smoothly into the stream of abundance consciousness.

When you take the time and energy to engage in exercise and getting healthy, you are vibrating and showing the universe that you are up for it, that you are getting ready for it – because you can feel that it’s coming, which makes it more fun!

Getting fit and exercising also help in the processing of old energies and belief systems and removing them from our bodies. Memories, patterns of thought and emotions tend to store themselves in the body tissues and can often remain for a person’s lifetime. Exercise helps release those stored memories for processing and growth.

You don’t have to smash yourself at a gym to get fit – that attitude comes from the “no pain, no gain” mentality, which is not energetically supportive or sustainable. It also often leads to injury. It’s more important to work at developing a sense of enjoyment and pleasure from your exercise. One way to achieve that is to find an exercise that suits you, that feels good. Try lots of things out to see what works for you. When you find a sport or style that you dig, work with that and go for it! Another way to find more enjoyment with it is to find a comfortable yet challenging space to work into. Smashing yourself is not the best way only adds extra stress and strain and can drain the system, and not working enough doesn’t yield any results. I generally recommend people work in about the 70-90% intensity range - always leave a little room so you can breathe and enjoy.

Cardio (jogging, cycling, swimming) is always recommended alongside a non-cardio exercise (yoga, lifting weights, walking, etc.).

Having both flexibility & strength offer a more balanced mind body matrix, like the two ends of a seesaw. Endurance offers the ongoing sustainability and smooth supply of energy flow. Make sure you work at all three aspects so as to support balance.
